Passvault is built on open-source software. This page lists the components we ship, their licences, and where the source code lives, as those licences require.

Our modifications to the web vault
We post-process the stock web-vault build; there are no functional code changes. The modifications are:
- Product name “Vaultwarden Web” replaced by “Passvault” in the page title, the PWA manifest, the footer and the about dialog
- Logo, icons and theme colour replaced with Passvault’s (including the signed-in navigation logo)
- The issuer name used for the vault’s own two-step login codes changed from “Vaultwarden” to “Passvault”
- Help and download links point to passvault.me
- Two bundle files renamed for cache-busting
- Server e-mail and admin-panel templates rebranded

Apply it to the unmodified web-vault release linked above to reproduce exactly what we serve. Our modifications are released under the GNU GPL v3.0.
